This policy explains how RouteForgeX Ltd handles personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are the data controller.

Data we collect

• Name, delivery address, email and phone number, to carry and deliver consignments.
• Consignment and tracking data — status, location scans and timestamps.
• Website and cookie data (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not collect or store payment card details. We never request payment to release a parcel by text or email.

Lawful basis

We process delivery data to perform the contract of carriage. We rely on legitimate interests for network operations and fraud prevention, and on consent for optional marketing and non-essential cookies.

How we use it

• To carry, track and deliver your consignment.
• To send delivery notifications by email, SMS or WhatsApp where enabled.
• To handle claims, support and complaints.

Sharing

We share data only with delivery partners and processors necessary to complete carriage (for example final-mile carriers and notification providers), all under data-processing agreements, and with authorities where legally required.

Retention

Consignment records are retained for up to 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. Personal contact details are minimised or anonymised within 12 months of delivery where no longer required.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact our privacy team. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
